Power Outage

During Summer and Winter seasons you may experience bad weather storms. These hurricanes or snowstorms force you to stay inside all day. There is nothing on TV to watch, and time does not move forward while indoors, so your only option to move on with the day is to go to bed.

There is a 1 in 10 chance of experiencing a power outage when you go to bed while a storm is raging outside. The screen will go dark as though the electricity was cut.

Then you wait a little bit, and wait some more, and keep waiting. Eventually, after about 20 seconds, electricity will be restored and the lights turn back on. Then you can go to bed again.

If you're married, your spouse will comment on the power outage. It doesn't negatively affect you relationship; after all, it's not your fault the power went out.
