A customer is visiting Neil's house, but he seems rather annoyed. Neil refuses to sell to him! The customer gets angry, exclaims that he'll never buy from Neil again, and then storms out. Neil tells you to leave him alone, as you have nothing to do with it. He finally breaks down and explains that the man use to be a customer of his, who came here to complain about a cow that Neil sold him. The man says the cow became sick after Neil sold it to him, and so he believes Neil did it on purpose. When Neil asked the man how he was caring for the cow, it turns out the man wasn't doing a very good job. That's when they started arguing.
Option 1: What about the sick cow?
Neil is surprised that you are concerned about the cow, and then suddenly remembers that he needs to give the cow some medicine! He runs out of his house to care for the sick cow.
When he returns, he doesn't expect you to still be waiting to hear about the cow. Neil tells you he gave the cow some medicine and the man some advice on how to care for cows. He thanks you for being here and asking about the cow. He was so angry that he might not have even thought to help the poor cow.
Result: +3000 FP
Option 2: You're not much of bad businessman
It has nothing to do with you! Neil demands you leave his house.
Result: -2000 FP
Purple Heart Event

» Neil is inside his house
You walk into Neil's house and notice that Rod is there. He was just walking by with his dog and stopped by to visit, but he's forgotten something at home and so has to leave. Rod tells you that Neil is inside and then leaves.
Neil doesn't notice that you've arrived and starts talking to the dog, kindly assuring him that Rod is going to be right back. The dog notices that you're there and walks over to you. Neil is surprised to see you and asks how long you've been standing there. You didn't see him doing anything, did you?
Option 1: I just got here
Good. Neil is bothered that Rod left his dog with him, but he's decided to bring the dog back to Rod. Neil invites you to go with him.
Rod just found the item he was looking for and starts to leave for Neil's place when the two of you arrive with Rod's dog. Neil is annoyed and tells Rod that he can't do favors for him all day long. Rod is confused, because Neil apparently volunteered to look after his dog while he went home! Neil denies it, gives back the dog, and storms out of Rod's house.
Rod figures that Neil was embarrassed that you saw him playing with the dog. Neil is really a nice guy though! Rod hopes that you'll become friends with Neil.
Result: +3000 FP
Option 2: I saw you playing with the dog
Neil doesn't know what you saw, but it isn't what you think you saw! He calls you a "noisy busy-body" and gives you the cold shoulder. Rod comes back and notices the tension in the air. Neil tells him that it is nothing, and asks him to take his dog and leave.
Back at Rod's house, he inquires as to what happened. You explain what you saw Neil doing, and Rod figures that Neil didn't want to be seen acting that way. Neil is rather shy, although you can't tell just by looking at him, and Rod figures you probably should of pretended you didn't see anything.
Result: -2000 FP

You must give Neil a Ring before you can see the rest of his heart events. Give him a Ring on Saturday or Sunday, Sunny weather, between 8:00 am and 11:00 pm. Neil must be at a blue heart color or higher.
Green Heart Event

Neil is chasing after a rogue cow and yells at you to catch it as it runs back. Unfortunately you don't respond fast enough and the cow gets away from you too. Neil begins to belittle you, but then apologizes; it was his fault that she got away to begin with. Neil asks for your help.
Option 1: I'll help
The two of you head up the mountain to catch up with the cow. Neil wonders even after he was so rude to you, why did you agree to help him?
Option A: Because I like you, Neil
Neil thinks you're soft in the head for liking him, but drags you along to search for the cow. You eventually catch the wandering bessie. Neil thanks you for your help, and admits that what you said about him made him happy.
Result: +5000 FP
Option B: That's just how things worked out
He figured it wasn't any special reason why you agreed to help. Neil thinks he can catch the cow on his own.
Result: +1000 FP, but +1 AP
Option 2: I've got to go home
Fine! He didn't need your help anyway!
Result: -3000 FP, +1 AP

Yellow Heart Event

Neil was about to head out when you walk in. He's had a little bit of trouble and wanted to go out to clear his head. Neil asks if you want to go with him.
Option 1: I don't really feel like it
Result: -2000 FP, +1 AP
Option 2: I'll go with you
The two of you head out to the waterfall and tells you it is his special spot. The raging water is nice to look at. It helps him to forget the bad things and relax.
Option A: What bad things?
Result: -2000 FP, +1 AP
Option B: I understand totally
Neil knew you would understand. That is why you to are together, after all. Neil starts to tell you a story about something fun that happened to him the other day.
After he finishes, Neil admits he feels better. He's glad you enjoyed his story. Neil thinks for a moment and thanks you for not asking him for details about what happened. It makes him happy. Neil wants to see you if he is worried about anything else, and hopes that you'll do the same if you need him.
Result: +3000 FP
