Given the nature of this thread, double posting is perfectly fine here, as long as you're not spamming. Like, no posting three announcements separately in one morning. But if you see news the day after and no one has posted since you last did, it's fine :)

Bruh, the new Kirby game looks genuinely great.
I've never been a hardcore Kirby fan, in fact I can count the number of games from the series I've played to completion on one hand, but I've always loved Kirby as a character and his lovely candy colored world. I've specifically always had a soft spot for Waddle Dees and I'm thrilled to see them being a big part of the gameplay. I'll certainly be picking this up come March.

It's super cute! The cuteness makes me want it. But then, pretty near all of Nintendo's first-party stuff is adorable, and it's also almost all platformers or puzzles, which...nope. *sigh* Gimme more LoZ, Nintendo! Mega cute though. I hope it turns out great.

I am SO excited for the new Kirby. It does mean March is going to be busy, though. RF5, Triangle Strategy, and Kirby? Hoo, boy. I'm going to have to prioritize.

Word. I'm in the exact same boat. I'll probably focus purely on Triangle Strategy until Rune Factory 5 comes out. Kirby can be my April game because as far as I know, I don't have any releases that month.

There is a new Arceus gameplay clip up. From the looks of it there seems to be normal controls! Yay! My paranoia is resolved, lol.

I saw that earlier; it's actually pretty good. I miiiiight get this Pokemon. Maybe. :) Not on release, though. Pokemon gameplay isn't my thing, but I like that this one is different...more options to not use that turn-based combat, and more of an exploratory feel.

A lot of game news/updates came today. I saw a nice little video of Astroneer (released on switch today) and Pokemon (greensara just posted the link to the same video I saw) and Rune Factory. I've put the video Tweet under the cut. We also finally heard that the digital special edition and digital pre-orders have gone up on the eshop...though actually, it's not live on my eshop yet.
Spoiler:
Oh, and NISA put up a silly tweet that indicates they'll be talking about Trails from Zero tomorrow. (It said something like "We have ZERO things to talk about tomorrow...") Their Trails from Zero localization is due out this fall, so I'm not anticipating much, but it could be an actual release date.

Egglia: Rebirth!!

It's currently up for pre-order on the Nintendo Switch's e-shop. It looks really fun and you can decorate houses (both villager houses and your own) in this RPG.

https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/e ... th-switch/

It's currently $20 US.

Looks like the cloud versions of the Kingdom Hearts games are coming February 10 and the demos are available now. They sound like they are really getting roasted on Twitter, but I will probably check it out for myself. You're not out anything but time for a demo.
Edit: Tried all three demos. You have to be quick to experience much since I guess they're timed. The first couple of tries timed out for me because the intro/tutorial is so long (especially for 3), until I realized you can skip a lot of it with the plus button. After doing that I was able to play around in the actual games to see what they were like instead of just the videos. I guess I really just wanted to get a feel for how the controls worked, how the game looked and ran, etc. It actually didn't seem too bad for the portions I was able to play around in. It reminded me a lot of the DS one, but prettier, though I think that game is actually included in one of the bundles. I was playing docked and have a pretty good internet connection if that helps. I'm keeping it in mind, but probably waiting for a steep sale since it's all cloud so it would never actually be mine to keep. I could possibly deal with a lower price thinking of it as a long term rental though. Been a while since I "rented" a game, lol.

The demo for Our Life 2: Now and Forever, was just released today!

https://store.steampowered.com/app/1622 ... __Forever/

It's a really cute demo giving you an introduction to our two romantic leads and an idea of the interface upgrades they made for the newest game! If you enjoyed the original, make sure to check this out!

Y'all remember that indie game about being a witch/wizard going to an academy that was really Stardew Valley inspired that popped up 3 years ago and then vanished into the ether? Witchbrook that was renamed from Spellbound that has zero gameplay footage and only static screenshots?

Well, I stumbled upon a new indie today called Songs of Glimmerwick which basically has the same vibes but its has gameplay and a release date.
Looks pretty heckin' promising.

I'm double posting but I DON'T CARE. WE'RE GETTING ANOTHER VOICE OF CARDS GAME!
I adored the first game last year, and holy « Puppy Doodoo », this is fast sequel considering it came out in October. I'd guess this was in development alongside it or it's an asset flip as they're not graphically demanding games. Regardless, inject the Yoko Taro game into my veins, please, I am ready for it.

Edge of Eternity (the indie game that somehow got the Xenoblade music guy on board, I've no idea how!) released a few days ago, and it's gotten what I think may be the single most over-the-top review I've ever seen. Every noun is hitched to one or two superlatives. I think I may even have seen some with THREE. Words like enthralling, phenomenally magnificent, wonderfully innovative, exhilarating and thrilling (last three all used at once!) Apparently this writer cannot gush hard enough.

Lol, well I was hoping to see some good reviews, as I can't decide on this one, but this one is so enthusiastic that at first I wondered if it was meant sarcastically. But the review does give it 10/10, so they must mean it. I still can't tell if I'd like it, though. All I can tell is that that writer is wildly convinced of it's value. I prefer to see negatives mentioned though. There is no such thing as a perfect game, and if NO negatives are mentioned I start to wonder if I can trust the review at all. A single 'con' is mentioned in the review summary graphic, as 'unexpected jank'. Not sure what that means. Occasional lag, perhaps?

EDIT: Changed link...it was the wrong one!
