Upgrading the fridge - glitch

There are 2 possibilities for upgrading the fridge:
1) making it bigger
2) using different materials (stone lumber, golden lumber, mythic stone)

I want to have a XL mythic fridge and there are 2 ways to get it:
1) upgrade the small lumber-fridge to a XL lumber-fridge and then change the material to mythic.
2) change the small lumber fridge to a small mythic fridge and upgrade this small mythic fridge to XL-size.

I saved my game and tried both ways:

Way 1: I had to pay the costs for 3 lumber upgrades (more than 1,000,000 G) AND the change from lumber to mythic (300 mythic stones and 5,000,000 G).
Total: more than 6,000,000 G and 300 mythic stones

Way 2: For the change from small lumber-fridge to small mythic-fridge I had to pay 100 mythic stones and 5,000,000 G. Gannon took the stones and the money and I had a small mythic-fridge.
For the upgrade from small mythic-fridge to medium mythic-fridge Gannon wanted to have 100 mythic stones. I said "yes", he made the upgrade but he didn't take the stones from my cabinet. Same happened with the upgrade to large (200 mythic stones) and XL (300 mythic stones).
In the end I had a XL-mythic-fridge and had paid 100 mythic stones and 5,000,000 G. So this is the better way to get a XL-mythic fridge. (The mythic stones have to be stored in the cabinet. If you carry them in your rucksack Gannon will take them)

I acutally really like this glitch for some strange reason. Probably that you STILL have to do some of it, but you get the rest free (which can save you like 2-3 real life days, since not everyone has 987963# orange wonderfuls)

I planned to upgrade XL Size before change material. Now I just have Large Refrigetator.

Get 200 Mythic Stones isn't really hard. Now I already have 3 Orange Wonderfuls (25th Summer). Pretty sure I can have more 3 Orange Wonderfuls and 1 Indigo Wonderful at end of Summer. ^^

Floor 100 have 4-5 Mythic Stones, and Floor 250-254 have 1-2 Mythic Stones per floor. Hm~ Still have a few strip to go.

Ah, I don't really understand upgrade effect system. When I store my Potato in Refrigerator, it take 10 day and lost one Frestness, but when I try to Upgrade to Stone Refrigerator, the Potato just lost haft point for more than a season (more than 30 days), but the fish lost two Freshness points.

It's possible, but not tested though. So you might want to try it and see whether it works out the way you would expect it. If not, just reload to your last save point and no harm been done. I would test it if I was further in the game, like the second year at least.

I've tried with stone (for the fridge) before and it was the same.
I didn't have enough money for buying golden lumber for the L-upgrade so I couldn't test with this material.

When I have got another 5,000,000 G I'll upgrade my cabinet to mythic. Then I can tell if it works for the cabinet.
