You startle Stuart at the front desk when you walk in. The old man was lost in thought, and says that he was thinking about what he was going to have for lunch. He nervously decides to go and get something to eat, and asks if you would stay at the front desk for a little bit.

After Stuart leaves, Ethel comes out of the back room. You tell her that Stuart was acting a little odd. She says he is fine and this happens from time to time; he is actually still lonely. Ethel explains that they have a son but he's grown up and has left the town. Ever since their son left, Stuart tries to hide how lonely and sad he is. Stuart really misses his son, especially since their son doesn't visit them very often.

Ethel apologizes for bringing up such a depressing topic. Anyhow, now that Daisy is at the hotel, Stuart is happy most of the time. Daisy is like a granddaughter to them.

Stuart comes back to the front desk and notices his wife is there with you. He asks if you two were talking about him and Ethel admits that they may have been. This bothers Stuart a little bit, but then Daisy returns back to the hotel. Daisy calls Stuart "grandpa" and shows him the Mont Blanc that Angelo gave her. It's Stuart's favorite food, and she brought it back just for him.

Daisy realizes that she lost her earring and goes back to find it. Stuart reminds her to be careful.
