Finding the Last Harvest Sprite

At the end of the main storyline, you saw a sillouette of a shy Harvest Sprite. To learn more about this little fellow, you will need to get married and have your child.

After your child has existed for 90 days, in the morning you'll discover that it won't wake up. Gareth will stop by and diagnose it as Sleeping Sickness. He says it is a rare disease, and it has no known cure. Gareth has heard that sometimes the patients will wake up after a few years, but there's no way to know if your child will awaken. Gareth thinks the Harvest Goddess might have some useful information that might help.

Your spouse will now be found standing next to the crib, never moving or going to bed. They will be stuck there until you solve the problem of your child's neverending nap. This means Hunter will not go into the barn and have animals for sale, etc.

Go talk to the Harvest Goddess, who suggests that you go ask Gorgon. She says the Underworld King knows more about human diseases than she does.

Gorgon says there is a cure for Sleeping Sickness. You need to collect the Life of Morning Dew, which comes from the Harvest Sprite responsible for life. Unfortunately, you don't know who this sprite is. Gorgon suggests that it might appear to you when the time is right.

That night you'll have a dream of a mysterious purple Harvest Sprite. The vision will instruct you to collect specific ingredients and then meet him at the Harvest Goddess Spring during the day time. The sprite doesn't tell you in the dream what you'll need to collect, so in the morning when you wake up, go into your Requests menu. You'll find the request, "The Morning Dew of Life" and its required items:

• 1 Great Milk: You can collect this by taking good care of your cows. Eventually you'll obtain great-quality milk.
• 1 Pink Rose: This flower seed can be purchased from Iris at her shop for 75 G each. The flower will take 12 days to grow.
• 1 Moonstone: The Moonstone Ore can be found in gem ore nodes located in the Southeast mine site #3 (the one with three nodes) and the Southwest mine site #1, which only has one node. Take the Moonstone Ore to Brutus and pay him 250 G to process it into Moonstone.

Have the three items in your bag and visit the Harvest Goddess Spring between 6:00 am and 8:00 pm. The purple sprite will appear and introduce himself as Oliver. He has been watching you ever since he saw you in the blizzard that brought you to the Lost Valley. A moment later the little guy will take the required materials and make the Life of Morning Dew. Oliver instructs you to give it to your child.

Return to your farm house and press the A Button when standing next to your baby's crib. The magic dew will wake up your child, who will then tell you that he/she is hungry! Somehow the little tike learned how to talk while suffering from sleeping sickness.

The next morning, you'll discover your baby and Oliver together. The sprite was just checking up on your child. He also informs you that he is going to now help you out just like the other Harvest Sprites do. Oliver's ability allows your livestock and chickens to live beyond their natural lifetimes as well as help heal them when they're sick.

You'll now find Oliver as one of the helper sprites you can talk to Mondays through Fridays at the Harvest Goddess Spring.
