Tools

Like in all Harvest Moon games there are Tools and Items in which you may buy and use. These Tools/Items may be used for many different things around the farm. Below is a list of these tools, their cost, and how to obtain them.

Animal Potion
Cost: 500 Gold
Use: If you forget to feed your animals or leave them out in the rain, you will need to give them the Animal Potion to cure their sickness.
Found: Buy this at the Farmer's Shop.

AP Medicine
Cost: 1000 Gold
Use: This is used to restore stamina for the Hero when he runs out of energy.
Found: Buy this at Louis' Tool Shop.

Breadfruit Seeds
Cost: 40 Gold
Use: Each bag contains 1 seed to plant. Plant 1 bag on a 1 x 1 square plot tilled with your Hoe.
Found: Buy this at Lyla's Flower Shop.

Brush
Cost: 300 Gold
Use: The Brush is used to brush your Horse or Cows. The more you brush them, the better they will love you.
Found: Buy this at Louis' Tool Shop.

Chicken Feed
Cost: 10 Gold
Use: This is used to feed your Chickens. One bag contains one feeding. This is the only way to feed your Chickens.
Found: Buy this at the Farmer's Shop.

Corn Seeds
Cost: 30 Gold
Use: Each bag contains 1 seed to plant. Plant 1 bag on a 1 x 1 square plot tilled with your Hoe.
Found: Buy this at Lyla's Flower Shop.

Cow Miracle Potion
Cost: 2000 Gold
Use: This is used to impregnate a Cow. After a certain number of days a calf will be born.
Found: Buy this at the Farmer's Shop.

Fine Silk
Cost: 3000 Gold
Use: This is needed to complete the "Goddess Dress" ending. You will need to buy this fabric and give it to the Goddess for her to make.
Found: Buy this at Louis' Tool Shop.

Flute
Cost: 0 Gold
Use: This is used to help train your dog in and it is used to complete the "Bluebird" ending.
Found: Befriend Louis and he will give this to you for free.

Fodder
Cost: 30 Gold
Use: You can either buy fodder to feed your Cows, or you can make fodder by cutting 3 squares of Grass for 1 Square of Fodder.
Found: Buy this at the Farmer's Shop.

Hoe
Cost: 0 Gold
Use: Tills a 1 x 1 square plot of land on your farm. After tilling the soil, you can plant seeds to grow and make a profit.
Found: Given to you at the start of the game.

Milker
Cost: 1800 Gold
Use: The Milker is used to milk your Cows. Make sure to milk a full grown cow every day.
Found: Buy this at Louis' Tool Shop.

Old Fishing Rod
Cost: 0 Gold
Use: Use it to fish at Maple Lake. The only downside is that you rarely catch Medium sized Fish, only Small sized Fish and some Junk.
Found: Befriend Joe and he will give this to you for free if you show an interest in fishing.

Potato Seeds
Cost: 20 Gold
Use: Each bag contains 1 seed to plant. Plant 1 bag on a 1 x 1 square plot tilled with your Hoe.
Found: Buy this at Lyla's Flower Shop.

Sickle
Cost: 0 Gold
Use: Cuts a 1 x 1 square plot of grass in your fields on your farm. Once the grass is cut, it will be automatically turned into fodder (Cow Feed) and stored in your Silo for safe keeping.
Found: Given to you at the start of the game.

Silver Fishing Rod
Cost: 0 Gold
Use: This is an upgrade to the Super Fishing Rod in the "A Fishy Story" ending. You will be able to catch the legendary Silver Fish with this rod.
Found: Befriend Kurt and he will give this to you.

Super Fishing Rod
Cost: 4500 Gold
Use: This is an upgrade to the Old Fishing Rod in the "A Fishy Story" ending. You will be able to catch all sized fish with this rod.
Found: Buy this at Louis' Tool Shop.

Super Sickle
Cost: 4500 Gold
Use: Cuts a 3 x 1 square plot of grass in your fields on your farm. It takes 3 grass to be cut to turn into 1 fodder. Once the 3 grass are cut, it will automatically be turned into fodder (Cow Feed) and stored in your silo for safe keeping.

Tomato Seeds
Cost: 30 Gold
Use: Each bag contains 1 seed to plant. Plant 1 bag on a 1 x 1 square plot tilled with your Hoe.
Found: Buy this at Lyla's Flower Shop.

Watering Can
Cost: 0 Gold
Use: Waters a 1 x 1 square plot of land on your farm. Use it to water the seeds to make them grow into crops. There is no need for watering the grass fields. To refill the watering can, collect water from the well.
Found: Given to you at the start of the game.
