Quiet Little Underground Town
( To the tune of Mountain Town from South Park: Bigger Longer and Uncut)



( The music rises slowly and melodically. The scene opens on a quiet underground town. Off int eh distance, a wheat mill spins, all of the houses look alike. The camera follows some kids running by. Slowly focuses on a ruined pumpkin patch. Then fades out of focus as it pans to a lareg house. The Camera begins to zoom in on the door as a flock of chickens flys by. Suddenly, ARK opens the door and begins the song.)
( ARK)
Theres a bunch of Crystal Blue in the sky.
And a flock of chickens just went flying by.

( Ark just barely misses being pooped on by a chicken.)

Oh the grass is all orange and the house's roofs are brown.
Just another ordinary morning in this quiet little underground town.

( The music picks up ARK bounces in a dance step as he walks through the town.)

( ARK)
the crystal blue is shining and way up in the sky.
It seems like theres pictures but I don't know why.
A day like this is perfect in every way.
All the people have something weird to tell.
They say we live somewhere in hell.
But they always say this every day in this quiet little underground town.

(Ark hears the Elder call him from his window. The music underscores this conversation.)

( Elder)
Ark! You need to go appologize to the Weavers.

( Ark)
Im going! Im going.

( Elder)
Well hurry up. and pick me up some prunes cause Im getting constipated again.

( All the people in town turn to look at Ark And the Elder.)
( Ark)
Sure thing Gramps.

( The camera zooms in to the Elder's Window as he starts to sing.)
( Elder)
He's the epitome of a perfect boy.
I could play with him as if he was my toy.
( The other boys in the home all dance in a circle around the Elder who does russian kicks.)
He gets into mischief but he always can never make us frown.
He loves Elle and I can use that for my will.
As I use him for my fill.
But thats happens every day in this quiet little underground town.

( Ark arrives at the The Weaver's The music underscores the conversation.)

( Ark)
Im sorry for wrecking your house and you stupid weavings. But who really cares. No one else uses them.
Oh is Elle here?

( Weaver She yells, hurting Arks ears.)
Elle. Get out here.

( Ark)
Ow!

( Weaver)
Elle. Get out here. Elle dammit. Get your ass out here.

( Elle's voice.)
I'm coming......givee me a minute to put away the toys and clean up.

( Elle appears in the doorway.)

( Ark)
Elle. I want to get it on. Can you come play?

( Elle's face lights up. She steps outside.)

( Elle)
Of course I do. What do you thnk I was doing back there?

( She steps towards Ark)

( Weaver)
And where do you think that you are going??!?!

( Elle)
Im going to go get it on with Ark.

( Weaver)
No you have to finish your weavings.

( Elle)
But Weaver...I'm really horny.

( Weaver)
Fine. Go ahead and have premarital sex. But when its time to repent you will have to answer to Dark Gaia!

( Elle)
Okay!

( The camera follows Ark and Elle as they return to the house.The weaver watches warily, and the gardener of the pumpkin patch waves hello. Other weavers crowd in the doorway. The elder watches through his window. a bunch of townspeople start walking by doing their every day buisiness.The song begins again.)

( Ark)
You hear the adults rules echo in the air.
They have something to say but we just don't care.
Who needs rules that will only bring us down?

( Ark, Elle, the Elder, The Weavers, and the Gardener all join in.)
In this quiet, little, hellspawned, acursed, underground town.

( Ark and Elle arrive home, all of Ark's friend are playing outside.)
( Kids having a conversation.)

( Kid)
Okay lets try this one more time.

( Kid 2)
But I dont want to go into the basement.

( Kid 1)
Yep into the basement.

( Ark walks up.)
( Ark)
Hey kids! Me and Elle are going to get laid.

( Kid)
Oh my Gaia dude!

( The Elder walks out.)
Whats going on here?

( Kid 1)
nothing, were just playing....

( Elder)
Okay, just remember that you are all enormous fools!

( Kid 1)
Why do you always say that?

( Elder)
Because you are all enormous fools!

( The kids walk off, leaving the Elder to sing alone.)

( Elder)
( Singing and dancing with kicks.)
I can control all of the kids
And make them do my will.
Cause the Crysta is a boring place.
And the Earth no longer has a face.
So all thats left is this boring, lifeless, quiet, underground town.
( The Elder jumps and does the splits as he lands)

( The kids enter the kitchen heading for the basement)

( Cook, talking)
Kids! Go away. I havnt finished dinner.

( Ark, talking)
We're just passing through.

( Cook sees Ark take an apple)
Hey don't eat my apples. You can miss dinne. You can all miss dinner. and you can all die!!!!

( Ark and kids are stunned.)
( Cook)
Now get out of my damned kitchen!

( Ark, Elle, and kids enter the dining room heading for the basement in a big finish.)

Off to the basement! here we go
Cause we want to learn what we dont know.
Cause in the basement is what teh Elder doesnt want to say.
And So from the Elder we will get beat.
( In a four part harmony)
Cause what ever is in the basement is neat.
( back to origional quick tempo)

( All of the kids stand in front of the basement door in dramatic pose.)
