Terranigma

Okay, so maybe Soul Blazer wasn't the greatest game in the world. And, alright, perhaps Illusion of Gaia sucked. So you're thinking "Oh great, not another Soul Blazer POS!"
Well I got news for ya buddy...
Terranigma rocks!
The graphics in this game are simply beautiful for it's time, and still are. It makes good use of Mode 7 graphics, and the gameplay system was a definate treat. Being able to jump up then dive down and then slide without a long combination of buttons was an excellent feature. So you're thinking "Okay, you convinced me about the graphics and gameplay...but what about the story?"
Hehe, don't get me started
"No no, please do!"
Fine...
I am a teenager who thoroughly enjoys violent and bloody movies/games. Not much can get me to cry. But let me tell you, I had to break out the tissues at the end of the game. It starts out like, 'Okay, I'll just rescue the villagers and thats that.' But then the Elder sends you on what seems like a damn fool adventure...but you complete his objectives only to find out...well, I won't spoil it for you. Play it yourself and see. This game is definately a masterpiece from Enix that ranks right up there with Star Ocean: The Second Story.
