Marvelous seems to have completed the marriage candidates for the
upcoming Tree of Tranquility/Peace game, set to be released in Japan
on June 7th. Currently there are 8 potential spouses for the two
genders you can play as.

For Boy

Kotomi from the tailors
Leena from Brownie Farm
Mai from the Kirch Restaurant
Pat from Rusk, the general store
Roomi, Kotomi's child-like sister
Shiela the traveling dancer

Chihaya, waiter and apprentice chef
Gill, Mayor Habal's son
Juli the high fashion fem-male
Luke the carpenter
Ose the muscular blacksmith
Tao the smiley fisherman
Won, Waffle Town's doctor

MMV has also added some new villager characters like the widow Miori,
Pat's dad Simon, and...

Elli and Gray.

Elli is learning how to bake cakes from Yuba (Mai's grandma), while
Gray is helping out at Brownie Ranch with Leena and her mom, Hanna.
They are simple villagers, not marriage candidates

MMV finished their latest television commercial for the upcoming Wii
game, with child actress Mirai Shinda again playing the lead role and
the same Yankee Doodle theme song as the DS Island tv commercial
(although different lyrics this time). Unfortunately not a lot of
game play is shown in the commercial, as it is mostly footage of
Shinda-san whipping her Wiimote around. You still can take a look at

If you happen to live in Japan, Marvelous is handling another Club
Nintendo promo contest. Previously for the release of "Songs of
Happiness" you could be the winner of a little pig plushie. This time
it is a plushie cow and there are only 1000 available! It makes you
appreciate Natsume's preorder systems a little bit better, where
those of us in North America get a good chance of getting some free
goodies and not forced into contests. 

Speaking of preorders, Brady Games will be issuing a strategy for
Rune Factory. It is currently set to be available in stores on June
19th, almost a full month before the actual game is currently set to
be released (date is subject to change of course!). There isn't a
strategy guide for Innocent Life though, which was released in North
America for the PSP on the 15th of this month.
