The latest edition of Famitsu Weekly came out recently, and inside of it was a review 
of Rune Factory. The magazine gave the game a 33 out of 40, which is pretty high 
compared to Innocent Life (29/40) and Harvest Moon DS (30/40).

Harvest Moon for the Wii was also shown in the latest edition of Famitsu. The Wiimote
 is indeed implemented as the means to use your tools. IGN has also translated the 
article and they explain the story takes place on an island where a great tree lives. 
One day the tree shrivels up, and the Sprites then request you to farm the land in 
order to revive the great tree.

No, we're not done! A NEW game for the DS was announced called "Bokujou 
Monogatari: Kimi to Sodatsu Shima", which is set to be released in Japan this 
December. A hacky English translation of the long title might be "Harvest Moon: The 
island that grows with you", but it is open to interpretation of course.

In the new DS game you can choose to be a boy OR a girl player. There isn't a lot of 
information yet, but it seems the story revolves around you and your family (mom, 
dad, and siblings) washing up on an uninhabited island (yes, *another* island). With 
the game scheduled to be out in a matter of months, I'm sure we'll learn more about 
it soon :)

- Puzzle de Harvest Moon (NA), October-ish
- Legend of the River King DS (Japan), October-ish
- Harvest Moon DS (Europe), November
- Harvest Moon: Island (Japan), December
- Harvest Moon Wii (Japan), no set release date

That's a lot of games! A game can be postponed for a bit at any time, but that is still 
a lot of different farming games in such a short period of time.
