The August 15th release of Harvest Moon DS in North America has been *postponed*
 until the middle of September. The game is now scheduled to ship around the 12th. 
Since it's been postponed in NA, it has also been pushed back in Europe. The EU 
release is now in November. Some fans have written to the company and Natsume 
has replied that it was due to a "production delay", so this delay might be out of 
Natsume's hands. If you preorder HMDS you can receive a keychain with the HMDS 
logo cow on it.

While I was on vacation some new information about River King DS was published in 
Famitsu magazine. You play as a boy named Senri, who must catch the River King in 
order to feed the fish's liver to your sick little sister in hopes of healing her illness. On
 your journey you will be accompanied by one of 3 monsters who have different 
abilities for you to use. Fishing is done on the bottom touch screen, and when reeling 
in a fish you can see it underwater on the top screen. The game will be out in Japan 
sometime this Fall, and it will be utilizing Nintendo's Wifi network.

Nintendo Inside put up a small preview of Rune Factory, which is still scheduled for 
August 24th release in Japan. Not much new information from what we have already 
covered in previous newsletters, but NI did confirm that the dungeons are used for 
excavation and mining, as well as planting crops. The pictures of your farm that you 
can send via Wifi can be annotated before sending, so you can make notes on the 
images before sending it through the network to your friends. You can also name 
your monsters after you befriend them with the Friendship Glove.
