Two things happened today :)

MMV has updated their SoH4W site with some nice wallpapers and and update on 
what is so special about the latest version. The first thing that is different from the 
regular version of Songs of Happiness is with the Rival, Reon. Apparently the interest 
in this character was so high from the Japanese fans that MMV has decided to make 
him/her a character you could marry. That's actually different then what I was told, 
so sorry about that ^^;;

Marvelous also adjusted the storage capacity of the refrigerator and furniture (such 
as cabinets and shelves) and tinkered with some other game balancing features.

The third thing they changed was the price. It's only 4,800 yen ($41 USD) compared 
to the original 6,800 yen ($58 USD). MMV also uploaded some SoH4W desktop 
wallpapers for you to use.

The 2nd thing that occured was the Innocent Life web site officially launched. 
Innocent Life is the HM-that-isn't-HM game being developed by Arte Piazza for the 
Playstation Portable console.

The story for Innocent Life revolves around the small south island and Professor 
Hope, who "created" his own son. The page says the boy is not a robot or android, 
but an "innocent life" living on the little island. You play as the boy and interact with 
the island by growing flowers and vegetables. It is hoped that the work will allow the 
boy to feel more human.

In the middle of the south island is a volcano and a mountain range. The other 
residents of the island live in Volcano Town in the southwest part of the island, while 
a ruined place called Easter is on the east side. In the past there was a conflict 
between the two set of people over land rights. This conflict angered some spirits on 
the island, who sealed up the fertile plateau.

When you first start the game most of your farmland is still sealed. You have very 
little area to plant veggies and flowers, but as you unlock the mysteries of the island 
you will also break the seal on your fertile soil.

It's defiantly a different view of the Harvest Moon experience :) MMV has also 
uploaded a IL wallpaper with a mermaid on it. You can download it from the Innocent 
Life web site. The game does not have a specific release date yet. SoH4W will be out 
in Japan on November 10th.
