The Electronic Entertainment Expo, better known as E3, has 
unofficially started. Lots of video game developers are swamping 
Los Angeles with information about their up and coming games and 
consoles. E3 officially starts on Wednesday.

I've been reading through some of the information oozing out of 
the expo and ran across a little snippit of Nintendo DS games 
that will have online capabilities. Some of the stuff I read just
couldn't be right...

Fortunately CareyKid emailed me a link off of the Nintendo web 
site confirming what I had read about games involving the 
Nintendo DS wireless ability. Sure enough, Marvelous Interactive 
is developing a HARVEST MOON game that takes advantage of the 
online portion of the hand-held console. The game does not have 
an official name yet, but it is listed as a working title.

There isn't any detailed information of course, but that doesn't 
mean the entire game will be online. It could simply use the DS 
to trade animals between players (hands off my chickens!) or 
maybe something like Pachi Machi mode in Songs of Happiness 
(Gamecube), where you play mini games with other people. We'll 
just have to wait and see what Marvelous does with this game ^^

Speaking of MMV, they have opened a branch of their company in 
California, USA. They have named it Marvelous Entertainment USA 
Inc. Does that mean Natsume no longer handles the translations? 
*shrug* I'm sure we'll hear more about MMV's USA branch at some 
point in the future.
