The first Nintendo Touch!DS event took place yesterday. The 
crowds were packed in to see the new console. Visitors were able 
to play some of the new DS games, including a small demo of 
Harvest Moon. The new farming game is only about 30% completed 
and there is still no set release date.

There are a few videos on IGN that show the DS "commercial" 
playing on the large screen in Nagoya Hall. The third video has 
a little snippet of the Harvest Moon game. It looks like you 
have to rub the cows... *ahem*... udders with the stylus wand in 
order to milk it.

There is also a small page about the game on the Nintendo World 
Event website. The two screen shots listed are the same ones on 
display at the official Japanese HM site (www.bokumono.com). The 
article on the Nintendo site says the game is set in a small 
village in Forgotten Valley, the same area A Wonderful Life was 
based on. The characters from FoMT will return, along with new 
characters introduced. Plugging in FoMT (boy and girl) in with 
the DS version will also unlock new events; the Famitsu article 
has already mentioned that you can receive a Harvest Moon 
newspaper and DVD that plays on your tv in the DS game.

On the Oh!Wonderful Life front, bokumono.com has uploaded the 
television commercial for the Ps2 version. You can find it on 
their website. There is a Mpeg version and a WMP version. The 
commercial is only 11 seconds long and it has scenes of the new 
daughter and one of the new horse colors. The cow at the end of 
the commercial seems excited that Oh!WL comes in a clear cd 
case and also includes a digital comic. There's a few desktop 
wallpapers on the page too.
