Harvest Moon DS looks a LOT like Friends of Mineral Town.

In the latest edition of Famitsu (a Japanese gaming magazine) 
there is a page of screen shots highlighting the new Harvest 
Moon game for the upcoming Nintendo DS console. The top DS 
screen will display the main world of the game, while the lower 
one displays the content of your Rucksack, unless you're talking 
with someone. Then the bottom screen shows the person's portrait 
and what they are saying to you. 

The "hero" uses the same graphics as Back To Nature and Friends 
of Mineral town. There are new characters added along with 
returning characters from FoMT and AWL. There are also new 
Harvest Sprites ^^

As for the animals, there are screen shots of a cow, duckling, 
duck, and cat. It basically appears as though the animals that 
were included in AWL will also appear in HMDS. You can use the 
DS's stylus pen to wash the animals.

I'm not sure who the individual is who made the scans of 
Famitsu, but they've been floating around on several message 
boards. Thank you Mr. Unknown-Magazine-Scanner ^^
