(__) (.#) Ushi No Tane /-------\/ Harvest Moon News / | || Issue 30 * ||----|| www.fogu.com/hm/ ~~ ~~ May 20, 2004 This morning the Japanese forums are a buzz with the news of the AWL4G release date. While there is nothing official on the MMV site, the fans are saying it will be released on July 8th. That's not too far away! On Matsuyama*-san's site, he says there will be a CD sound track packaged with the game as well. They've only packaged stickers with the GBA release in the past, and there wasn't any extras with the original AWL game. (*Igusa Matsuyama is the man who does all of the HM artwork you're familiar with) The price for the game will be the same, even though it's just a rehash of the Boy version. There will be three bachelors to marry (no word on which ones yet) and more voices heard. You can change your clothes depending on the season (finally!) but there's no mention if the villagers also change their clothes. You might also earn new outfits if you trigger certain events. Your child is a girl this time instead of a boy. Rumor of Freeplay :) only after you finish playing through the entire AWL4G game though. No word if you play as your daughter or if you play as yourself as an old lady. It's important to note that Freeplay was never a wild rumor prior to their AWL release like it was for the English release, probably because they knew it didn't exist :) If it's being mentioned now, there's a good chance that it will definatly be in the game. Connectivity to FoMT is obviously there. Supposably you can connect to *both* versions of the Gameboy game, not just the Girl version. There are a few screen shots floating around. The girl "hero" has short, brown hair. You can find some screen shots at http://www.the-sugoi.com/compose.php?Ndate=17052004&Nnum=5 Who knows how much of this stuff will still be in the game by the time this Winter comes around and the game is released in English. I doubt the sound track bundle will appear with the game; we'll probably all get stuffed cows again instead. Ya never know though.... Until next time! - Which job is a cow most suited for? -- Baker, because they're making cow pies regularly.
