Seems like those of us in the US/Canada who preordered at 
Gamestop or Babbages have received our copies of FoMT. 
Unfortunatly for those who didn't preorder or people who went 
through EB, you still have to wait a few days.

The keen thing about the English release is that it's completely 
backwards compatable with the Japanese saves. I can now run 
around my 6th year farm and talk to everyone in English. That 
also means the book in Mary's library that gives the detailed 
information about the AWL characters is also in English ;)

ahm... *cough* The following list are the English names of the 
AWL characters, per Mary's book:

Takakura = Tak               Sauri = Wally
Romana = Manna               Kurisu = Chris
Lumina = Lumin               Hyuu = Hugh
Sebasuchan = Sebastian       Guraato = Grant

There's been a lot of changes in the game as well; Mithril tools 
are now "Mystrile" and the green tools that we're familiar with 
are "Mythic". I guess I get to spend the day tomorrow changing 
all of the words around on the website :)

There are also a lot of.... humorous... translation mistakes. We 
all know how wacky the English language can be, and it looks like 
the individuals in charge of the translation had a lot of 
problems with some of the synonyms that we're use to. Be ready to 
see "hereing", "ore" instead of "or", and various other mixups. 
The game still plays fine, so just giggle and "bare" it :)

or is it "bear" it? *chuckle*
