AWL is out in Japan :) All sorts of new information is flooding 
onto the Japanese message boards.

- The strategy guides won't be out until October :(
- I'll have my copy of AWL next week :) If there's a cute little 
 opening schene I'll make it into a movie and throw it up onto 
 the website for download.
- You can check your girls' love level by looking at different 
 items.  Check Nami's bed for hers, the flower in the Bar for 
 Muumuu's, and the book in the attic for Sepiria.
- The Harvest Sprites give you the Blue Feather.
- If you're playing Story mode, you have to be married before 
 you can move onto Chapter 2. If you aren't married by the end of 
 Chapter 1 then it's game over.
- The seasons have been renamed. Spring is Parlot, Summer is 
 Pepper, Fall is Amber, and Winter is Indigo.
- You start with 3000 G.
- The new "rucksack" can hold about 140 items.
- No one has linked it up to their GBA yet :)
- Chickens are cheap: 900 G a piece. Male and female too!
- You can milk your cow twice a day. Goats give milk too, but you 
 only start out with 1 cow. You'll have to buy the goat 
 yourself.
- There are cooking recipes in the game. 
- You have 3 fields to use for crops and a 4th one for animal 
 grass. You can even grow trees that produce Peaches, Oranges, 
 Grapes, Bananas, and Apples. The normal crops are Tomato, Melon, 
 Strawberry, Carrot, Watermelon, Turnip, Ojyaka (?), and Kansho (?). 
 The crops require a LOT of water and can dry out several times 
 a day.
- There are 6 different varieties of cows, chickens, a horse, and 
 sheep (male only). No one has mentioned they've found the ducks 
 yet.
- Weather changes throughout the day :)
- You can choose from 2 different kinds of dogs. The dog is sort 
 of like how it was in STH. You have to become friends with the 
 dog and he'll be able to herd your animals into the barn. Don't 
 forget to feed him too! Later in the game there's an event with 
 a Chihuahua.
- Ban the merchant is in the town on the 3rd and 8th of each 
 season. You can by things like the Brush from him.
- You have to eat.

There'll be more information later on, but that's about it for 
right now. The game has only been out for a day 'ya know!
