Manato's challenge

Manato just challenged me to find a 8+ size Aya. Can someone help me about where in the water they tend to be? :?:

Manato is in several different areas, and he moves from place to place. You'd have to be more specific. Ayu are found in three different maps.

If you mean the first time i think you can find ayu in the place where the speaking tree is

i've played the game for 8&a half hours and still haven't found a damn ayu big enough. im really getting mad. any pointers or tips?
