If you are in Spring Year 1,

1. Collect EVERYTHING and I mean EVERYTHING, including rocks and branches, and sell them.

Bugs are a good choice if you can find the good ones.

2.If you have energy left by the end of the day, go diving. Hopefully, if you are lucky, you can get gold or sea urchin, which sells for 8000g and 400g respectively.

3.Once you have enough money, Plant as many turnips as you can! They grow quite fast, and you can Cook them into turnip salad, without any utensils. And they sell for a higher price, I would recommend cooking everything you can find (if you have the utensils)

4. Get some livestock and poultry once you have the money. Cook their products to earn more money.

5. Finally buy a pot and frying pan, before the end of spring. They are very useful in cooking better recipes in the future and will help you greatly to meet the future and higher quota!

This is the trick I used, but let me tell meeting the quota at the start of the game can be quite challenging but not impossible!! This is what I did, And before I know I'm meeting all the quotas without even trying!

So don't give up!

Hope this helps

Bye-bi~

If you don't mind kind of cheating a little bit, you can rake in a hefty sum of dough, just to get you over the hump but exploiting one of the windmills cheaply and effectively.

Once you get far enough in the game to unlock the windmill that can produce seeds (if you can hold out that long for it, making kind of small amounts of money), you can use the grass seed trick.

Buy equal amounts of fodder and fertilizer from Raul's shop in town, and add them to said windmill to make grass seeds. Make sure you do so ahead of time, because they'll take longer the more you put in it. Once they're finished, simply take those grass seeds to the bazaar and sell them. The fodder and fertilizer combined will run you 80g for one of each, and the grass seeds will sell for something like 560g a piece.

Other than that, the more proper way of doing things (ie - not cheating xD) is just as Kuroitsubasa24 said; collect everything you possibly can, and try and keep in in your storage so it won't go bad as fast, and try and take as much with you as possible to the bazaar each time you go.

Keep in mind though that I believe cooking eggs actually makes them worth LESS than selling them raw. You could try checking some of UnoT's pages for more price info too, if it'll help:

Good luck!
