The Pros and Cons of HM:WB

I bet something like this has already been made but, what do you miss from older versions of Harvest moon? and what new things do you like about this one??

Miss: getting mail...but that hasn't happened since FoMT
-shipping bin
-mines (that kills me!)
-more heart events
-being able to change clothes
-having to plant a seeds one at a time
-you cant get a vacation house or island

Like:
-being able to jump
-its easy to earn money once you have a well etablished farm since stuff sells so high at the bazaar
-windmills, no buying maker sheds and makers!
-different colored animal
-you dont need to extend your house size
-you get the recipes when you buy food

I miss time freezing indoors, but that is the only beef I can think of at ze moment.

Definitely being able to jump and board around and even enter the rivers is a plus for me in Marvelous adding some extremely fun aspects to the game! If you have ever seen me play any game (which you wouldn't have, but play along with it) you would know that jumping pleases me so!

Must be painful when urchins stick to the hero/heroine in the river though. Stamina down, ouch.

I like
- the different colored animals
- cats and dogs bring out the cows, sheeps and chickens
- you can go out during stormy weather
- the windmills
- the bazaar
- a lot of different trees
- no weeds

I hate
- you can only save before going to bed :x . In FoMT and HMDS you can save whenever you want. I miss this.

Pros:
- the time doesn't stop when you are inside the house/barn
- different colored animals
- new seeds/trees/flowers
- new super duper recipes
- a very easy and relaxing system of feeding animals
- dogs and cat bring out the cows, sheeps and chickens
- very beautiful and professional graphic
- great music
- nice voices of the villagers
- new system of selling and buying stuff (bazaar)
- you can go out from the house during storms
- jumping and diving
- funny cut-scenes
- you can catch bugs
- you can have more than 1 dog and 1 cat
- windmills
- sta/fat drops very slowly
- easy milking and shaving cows/sheeps (they don't walk away)
- no damn annoying mini games =D
- on the bazaar people ask you for advice or for help
- you get Thanksgivging cookies from all boys/girls, even if their heart is black

Cons:
- too small fields and greenhouse
- people don't have much to say
- they repeat the same things during every festival
- no weeds/stones/logs on your field. The field doesn't look natural then
- you cannot befriend people from Sunny Island
- YOU CAN SAVE THE GAME ONLY BEFORE GOING TO BED
- heart event system (I wanted something new)
- the rival couples won't marry
- no mine cave
- you cannot take your pets to the town
- game is easy and not challenging
- no mails or bday gifts.

Yes, it is fun :) The wind is pushing you and the snow is falling with a stronger power. You see the shaking trees and flying snow balls. If you bring out a chicken, the wind will take it away. The chicken will be found near your house, on the next day.

You can see all 4 rival events. But no wedding. They won't be married.

You can see them flying above your field. If you bring out another animal or pets, they will return to the barn/house.

The whole game is really fun, IMO

Pros:
-music
-windmills are a lot of fun
-really pretty graphics
-cute (albeit bland) characters
-mini games that are actually fun to play ('gasp!', I know!)
-jumpy, jumpy
-easy and not hideously tedious to feed/herd animals
-cooking has a purpose aside from gifting
-the Bazaar is a great new method that adds spice to the game
-bug catching!
-interesting new festivals
-Anemone X3

Cons:
-fishing SUCKS :<
-can only save when you sleep
-days tend to run a little long
-not much enrichment on the social front
-no mine! What gives?
-no rival marriage D:

I think this game looks amazing just because it is so different. I wish there were a NA release date... ;_;

Pro's :
- Time NOT stopping indoors. It makes the game feel more lively.
- Jumping!
- The Bazaar is really fun. *@#! shipping bins.
- Faceless NPCs, just something i really like. Gives the town more substance.
- Kagetsu (L)
- Schmidt

Con's :
- Mina NOT marriageble
- The town is REALLY smaall.
- No Rival Marriages.
- Many of the characters are just recolors of each other. Wilbur & Isaac, Narine & Crea, Sania & Merini.
