Let's not get philosophical here. Is this website necessary? Is the Harvest Moon series necessary? Are video games necessary? Is the computer you typed that question up on necessary? Don't bother answering that.

Countdown threads, while not strictly necessary, do a good job of collecting all the minor "looking forward to the game" comments into one area, thus leaving most of the front page of a given HM section open for true help topics.

failing due to games is addictiveness ;D, i never failed an year due to a game(never failed any year actually), you just need to balance your studies with your game time, the game isn't going to run to Honduras or something like that, you have all the time to finish it

depends...i won't get mine in less than a week(usually takes around 10~ days to import from US to Brazil)

While I am excited for the game, I doubt it will be in stores on the tenth unless they decide to ship out the game before the release date. But I will still call game stop on Tuesday after school to see if it is there so I can stop by there on my way home. *crosses fingers*
