Interesting. Is there an easy and a normal choice this time around? Also, is this game as grindy as the others?Nurse Fin wrote:I can't place RF1 or ToD since I haven't played those really.
RF3 < RFF < RF2 (just because the controls were so clunky) < RF4 for me.
But I don't think RF4 is all that challenging unless you play on hard mode. RF games have pretty mild difficulty in general, it doesn't require any advanced tactics
Not as grindy during the main parts of the story, at least. I could hack my way through it and the only real limitation was running out of RP or healing items (then again, that's how I always play)
But I think it's fun and rewarding to power up my party members and make those stat numbers as high as possible, which I didn't care about as much in the other games.
RF2 required the most grinding, I found.
And yeah there are easy, normal, and hard modes. I have only played normal and hard. Easy would probably be.. too easy.

I played on easy to speed through the dungeons to get to all of the bachelors marriage events. It is pretty damn easy. I tend to just play on normal now.. probably hard when I get the game in English.
I got that damn bug again where you can't go on dates, etc.. I think that's why I'm not being able to trigger Arthur's reverse proposal event. Sigh.
