Haila's Cafe

Over on Sprout Island you'll find Haila's Cafe. Her shop is open every day of the week. You can purchase food to eat that will restore your stamina and fullness levels. The food you buy from Haila are eaten after your purchase; you can't store it away in your rucksack to eat later.

Haila can also teach you cooking recipes when you bring her ingredients. Just stand in front of her when she's working at the diner, hold the food item above your head, and then press the A button to give it to her. Haila will ask if you want him to cook something with that ingredient. If she can cook a dish, he'll tell you the recipe name so you can make it in your own kitchen. If he can't cook a recipe using the ingredient, she'll apologize and tell you that sometimes it takes a while for her to successfully cook a dish; basically, Haila has a 70% success rate for discovering new recipes. If she doesn't have any new recipes to give to you, she'll tell you she can't think of anything to make with that ingredient. You can get a new recipe from Haila once per day.
