Summer 01: Beach Opening Day
On the 30th of Spring, Kai will stop by your house and remind you to visit the Beach the next day. On the 1st of Summer head down to the water between 1:00 pm and 6:00 pm. Everyone will be there to celebrate the opening of Kai's summertime snack shack.

Even if you don't connect your DS game to your GBA game, Kai will arrive every summer. Kai leaves at the end of the season but there isn't another festival to celebrate his departure.

Summer 07: Chicken Festival
Submit an entry when Popuri comes by the previous day, then go to the Beach between 10:00 am and 6:00 pm. If you win then you're chicken will increase in level.

Summer 20: Cow Festival
Rick will stop by your farm the previous day and allow you to choose your champion cow to enter into the festival. The adult cow can't be sick or pregnant. On the 20th visit the Beach between 10:00 am and 6:00 pm to participate in the festival.

Summer 24: Fireworks
Walk down to the Beach between 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm. All of the eligible girls (or boys in the girl version except Skye, who doesn't go to the festival) will be down on the Beach. If any of them are at a Green Heart or higher then you can invite that person to watch the festivities with you. If there isn't anyone available then you will have to watch the show with Cassey and Patrick. If you are married then you can view the fireworks with your spouse.
