Inside the house, Galen is showing off his Bonsai tree to Hardy, who is there on his weekly visit. The tree in his house are indeed splendid. A branch from the tree came off, and Hardy mentions that now it really isn't that great.
Galen becomes sad and mentions there isn't any other plant in the world like his "Nina" bonsai. Hardy decides that he must have just misunderstood, and this plant truly is a great Bonsai tree. Galen cheers up after Hardy's comments.
