Back at Vesta's farm, Rick is visiting again. Vesta gives him some vegetables but Rick thinks it might be too many. Nothing that Rick says will change Vesta's mind, and she's even a little irritated that he's objecting! She tells him they are a souvenir for his mother. Before she met Rick, Vesta had heard a story that eating vegetables will help to blow away sickness. She wants to help Rick's mother feel better. Now he understands why she was giving him all these vegetables and thanks her for her generosity.
