Upstairs, Van lets you know that he's buying things at his shop and you can bring him anything you might want to sell. Daryll will then walk in and ask if Van is buying things at the moment. Van is, and Daryll is overjoyed. He'll finally be able to buy some real food! He really doesn't want to sell his "Super Ultra Great Delicious Wonderful Water Pistol" (SUGDW) but he needs the money.
Daryll explains to Van how to use the water pistol but he includes a warning. If you use the water pistol on an opponent you'll be sent flying too, so the device needs some more fine tuning. Van thinks for a moment and offers to buy the water gun for 1G! Well forget that, Daryll is taking his item and going back to the lab to invent something great.
