Exit the tree like before and the two of them will be back by the Goddess Pond. Murrey tells the Gourmet that he was being strange before, and now Gourmet has returned because he has found a dish that is better than "Murrey's Lunch"! He would like Murrey to taste it.
After Murrey takes a bit, the silence begins to worry Gourmet and he nervously asks how he liked it. Murrey says it is unappetizing! There are too many flavors mixed together and the different ingredients can't be understood very well. Gourmet laughs with amusement as the shaggy bum gives a detailed critique equal to his own judgement skill.
