Walk into your house and your child wants to have a word with you. He (or she) asks if you dislike him/her since you never talk or communicate. Your child's obnoxious outburst deserves a smack, and you remind him/her that no parent would feel that way towards their child. Your kid didn't mean to make you upset and apologizes for his/her outburst. He/she did not think you would hit him/her for being so foolish!
After the event is over you'll wake up the next morning.
You may have to wait until the rain/snow weather occurs on the same day your spouse stays home all day before the event can occur.
