Kai Arrives
This event will only happen in your first year on the farm. On the 30th of Spring, head out the north exit of your farm between 9:00 am and 7:00 pm. On the path you'll see May and Popuri talking to a man wearing a purple bandana on his head. The two girls seem happy that he's arrived since it signifies Summer has arrived in Mineral Town. Kai invites them to visit his Beach House shop that will open in a few days. The girls then leave.
Walk up to Kai and he'll mention that you weren't around last Summer. He'll introduce himself and says he runs the house that sits on the beach. After that he heads back to his place.
