HM GBC 3 is Available in North America | Posted at 08:44 PM 14 December 2014
Earlier this week, Nintendo released the last of the Harvest Moon Gameboy games, Harvest Moon GBC 3, for the 3DS virtual console. You can download the game from the Nintendo eShop for $4.99. The download uses 58 blocks of SD space.
In the last of the Gameboy series, you can select to play as a boy or a girl, who is tasks with revive a local island farm. The gender that you don't select will be designated as your farm helper and lives with you in the farm house. Shipping is a little different in this game, as you need to place your crops into a storage hut and then call the Farmer's Union to schedule a pick up. The island and the mainland are distinct areas, with different villagers. All of the shops are on the mainland, where you'll find a movie theater, aquarium, and shopping mail. Once you get your own boat, you can eve set up a booth at a morning farmer's market. You can have a pet pig or falcon, raise horses to sell or race, use fertilizer to shorten crop growth time, and even have two children (if you're playing as the boy main character). There's a lot to do in HM GBC3! There is a Fogu guide for this game if you ever get stuck. Keep in mind that if you play as a girl, the game will end after you marry. And here is December's Nintendo DREAM 4-col comic!
